For YEARS I had a personal boycott on Old Navy because I couldn't stand their commercials - especially the insipid performance fleece ones. I've lifted my ban on the store now -- Kristen Chenoweth is a goddess. The new set of commercials are great -- and did I mention how hot Kristen Chenoweth is?

Funny. I've always thought their ads were brilliant. The latest crop? I have to hit the 'mute' button on the remote just to get through them.

Those old commercials with the lady with the big glasses -- or Sherman Helmsley singing "Old Navy, Old Navy, Old Navy Performance Fleece" on a ski lift? You thought THAT was brilliant?

Hey! We here at Gap Corporate were very fond of Carrie Donovan (big glasses lady to you!). When she passed away, they also retired Magic, the ON mascot dog, and we thought that very unfair.

They are meant to be cheesy, and some work well. Others, not so much. Have any of you seen the Geico Insurance commerical that mocks Old Navy commericals? Very dead on and very funny.
