Deborah Voigt was fired from the Royal Opera House for being too fat to fit into a costume for their production of ARIADNE. Now, after going through gastric bypass the slimmed down Voigt has been invited back, and HAS ACCEPTED! I think I would have told them to shove it. I love Deborah, but have you no pride? Isn't this kind of like going to the prom with the guy that made fun of you all through school then asked you out only after you had a make over, your face cleared up and you lost some weight?

So instead of redesigning the dress to make it a bit more flattering for Deborah's size they fired her and recast the role. Talk about cutting off your nose...
