Sorry guys, this is yet an other "Ideas?!" post... but I've been hired to do a Christmas show for a local thing, probably just lots of old people; but who cares I'm getting paid! It's going to be at least half an hour. My lineup goes something like Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries (if I can find the right music for it), Gimmie Gimmie from Millie, Sleigh Ride (jazzed up), a Chang in Me or Home from Beauty and the Beast(a little PR for our production...lol), Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas(in the style of Judy Garland, of course!)etc... I've got a pretty wide range, and wanted to think of a few unique songs, so if anyone's got any more ideas and/or suggestions, please let me hear them!
And... Should I sing Home or A Change in Me for all you Beauty and the Beast lovers?
This is really my first "show" singing more than just two or three songs being just me, and any tips, tricks, song ideas, ways to work the audience, etc. is welcome. :) Thanks!

I also suggest you do "I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm" by Irving Berlin. It's a nice jazzy piece and should keep the audience's attention.
Always remember to smile and look like you're having fun. If you don't look like you're having fun than the audience isn't going to have fun! Of course, if you're singing a sadder, slower song, it's important to stay 'in character' for it...but as for the jazzy, upbeat ones - just remember to smile and look like you're having a good time.
