Ideas for Norbert's New Sitcom

Kicking Butz
Beavis and Butz head
I love my Butz

Premises--
"Family sitcom"- Single father Norbert raising his kids, romantic lead, shamless laughs, etc
"Family Drama"- um...single father raising his kids, romantic lead, dealing with real life issues, etc

My idea----
Seriously, a Freddy Benson sitcom. There is a lot of material with this character. Set it before or after DRS. If after DRS, have Sherie come back for some guest shots. Every episode, a new con and lots of laughs. Great Big Stuff would be the theme stuff. It would be blast. Maybe he can adopt the Ruprecht persona again for some cons. The only problem would be explaining the whole DRS stuff. But that can be remedied with some good writing.

sounds good ryan. no idea about it. they might go completely different way though. they have been wanting him since he first came on as Roger in Rent. (i believe). But i love the title 'No Btuz About It.' lol.

Hmmm...I don't see him in a family dynamic, haha or maybe I just don't want too

It would be fun to see him as a comedian...ooor a bad loungersinger could be fun!

I love the DRS idea but I doubt it's likely.

Am I cut out to spend my time this way?

If they use his name in the title, its almost a definite flop. The Freddy Benson idea would be a good one. tvguide.com made a joke about it and said... "Norbert Leo Butz, a Tony winner for his take on the Steve Martin role in Broadway's Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, has been signed to star in a CBS comedy series that most likely will not be titled "Everybody Loves Norbert."

I'm sure it was moved over here because it is in fact "off-topic" Liir.

The ideas are funny, but I don't see them as the right fit. I love the Freddy one, but it seems least likely.

I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.
