Yes, its her version of "If I Were a Rich Man" from Fiddler. She talked about it on TRL. She says she was seeing the show and the song just hit her.
However, she than claimed the four midgets (named Love, Angel, Music and Baby) were figments of her imagination and that no one else could see them.

Posted: 1/4/05 at 9:38pmIsn't Gwen's version a re-make. I heard the song "If I were a Rich Girl" when I was on spring break in 2000 in Cancun. The girl singing it sounds just like Gwen. Maybe she recorded it a long time ago?
