...and told him he had NOTHING to do with the outing of Valerie Plame's covert status--and Rove assured Bush in Fall 2003 he was not involved--and then it turns out he LIED...

Karl--I do believe that gun is SMOKING!

See below: "If Rove purposely misled the president, the FBI, or the White House press secretary, a reasonable prosecutor might construe such acts as 'overt acts in furtherance of a criminal plan.'"

These acts might not be crimes themselves, but they would be clear evidence of criminal activity, sufficient to indict under the Espionage Act of 1917.
