Patsy Cline. She makes Judy Garland sound like an auto-tuned crow.
Marty Robbins
"Patsy Cline. She makes Judy Garland sound like an auto-tuned crow."
Oh, come on. Patsy Cline learned much of what she knew about singing (which was a lot) FROM Judy Garland. Cline herself, and every other singer of her era, would be appalled at your comment.
If there's one thing Garland never did, it was sound like she had been auto-tuned.
(Just to be perfectly clear, I love Patsy Cline and voted for her in the poll.)
OH F*ck, I agree with Roxy for once! Marty Robbins was awesome. His voice, incredible!
Patsy by a hair. Tammy runner up. One possessed the most glorious voice ever in country music and the other is responsible for penning the greatest country song. The vocalist and writer in me are torn :)
Tam serving up 60s country glam (hair pieces!) and singing LIVE. This is one the best instrumental backings to this song I've ever heard - that steel guitar! http://youtu.be/zc4e-HdlhPY
Patsy. Live. She's Got You. Brilliance. Nuff said. http://youtu.be/UtkFmCY9IZ0
