goes right up there with the commercial that featured fred astaire dancing with a vaccum cleaner: it SUCKS. gene kelly is one of my all time favorite performers, to see what they did to that classic song and his image pisses me off.

That was quite possibly one of the most dispicable things I have ever seen. and creepy might I add. Why can't they leave classics alone? Why must they mutilate the past?

patricia ward kelly must have alzheimers. that's the only way i can image they were able to "persuade" her to allow such a travesty. of course i'm not at all surprised that turner gave their blessings, considering what they did to all those black and white movies. to say that kelly would have approved because he liked innovation and modern dance is totally lame. he's rolling over in his grave.
