My friend just sent me this article that was in Vanity Fair a few months ago..I think a few months I don't know the exact date.
Anyway, it was a very well written piece about this boy in Great Britain who, at 14, inticed his own murder by making up different people to interact with this other boy, 16. And this 16 year old took in everything as though he was brainwashed, believed every single thing, even when the 14 year old (who they call John) told him that the girl he had been talking to, Rachel, was raped and murdered..but then was in fact only in a coma, and in this coma, gave birth to Mark's (the 16 year old's) baby..even though they never met. Really weird stuff like that. Eventually there was this British secret service agent who offered Mark everything if he killed John....again this agent was invented by John himself..so Mark stabs John...and at first only Mark was arrested but later John was as well.
A bunch of other wacked-out things happened like..well....you can only imagine what young boys may do with internet cameras..
The REALLY weird thing after all of this, I found, was that neither were imprisoned, just given probation...or so this article says, I don't know how much information they were really able to get their hands on.
p.s. I am not John. Don't be afraid of me. 
Seriously though, not to you know, scare anyone or anything, but this was too insanley creepy not to share.

Just goes to show you don't know who you are talking to on here.

Posted: 8/12/05 at 8:58pmThere used to be this TV show on (A&E? BBCAmerica?) that highlighted all these extremely grusome murders in Great Britain, going back to the '30's. People were hacked up and cooked and plastered in walls and every conceivable Grade B movie plot imaginable. I came to the conclusion that there had been WAY too much inbreeding over the years on that tiny island, leading to all these extreme nut cases. You've just confirmed that it's still going on!
