I love Debra Wilson. Brilliant on MadTV, but this just didn't make me laugh that much.

Well, to be fair, it's a commercial, not a comedy sketch.
At any event, it got my attention every time I saw it (without realizing it was Wilson), so that's something.

I haven't seen it air, so maybe in that context it works better than just clicking on a link and watching it.
Or maybe I was expecting more (or better) or maybe it caught me at the wrong time or mood.
Who knows?
Truth be told, all of it just felt really forced, the timing was off, and I didn't laugh.

Not to belabor it, but the point is to get you into Old Navy, not the Laff Shack.
But I'll agree it doesn't compare to Wilson's work as Whitney. I haven't revisited the clips since Houston died, but she used to put me on the floor. Also, she seemed like a real singer!
