I just returned home from one of the worst and most dissapointing evenings I have spent in a long time. I arrive with several friends to what was supposed to be a Tsunami Benefit Concert but turned out to be Lee Lessacks one man shows....First of all, the show was 30 minutes late in starting. This is completely rude and inconsiderate, and in my opinion thoughtless to not have made an announcement that something was going on if they were going to be that late..If there was something going on, and not Lee Lessack thinking, "Lets see how long the Prima Donna can make people wait." I was not impressed at all by his singing. His huge ego did not match his voice. Then...Stephen Schwartz comes onto the stage to sing "for good" with Lee Lessack.........Mr. Schwartz's voice cracks, and is just very weak. I give him credit to being an amazing writer, but he needs to let other people sing his fine tunes. The only good thing about the evening was meeting David Burnham (currently in the light in the piazza). He was very sweet. Overall, the evening was an awful waste of time and I would rather see Brooklyn than sit through this again.
