re: Independent Spirit Awards

Apparently you missed the drama before.

At least your thread doesn't have spoilers in the title re: Independent Spirit Awards

"Shut up! It's been 29 years!!!" --the incomparable Patti LuPone in her MUCH DESERVED Tony acceptance speech for Gypsy.

Added in *spoiler* for you, kitz. re: Independent Spirit Awards

I like how fast these awards go. They move quickly and they don't usher the actors offstage after a 10 second speech.

re: Independent Spirit Awards

I'm sure the AMC broadcast was heavily edited. IFC channel aired them live, uncensored, and uninterrupted earlier this evening. Sarah Silverman’s commentary over the closing credits was Raunchy with a capital R! I think she's hilarious!
