I have had it with AOL!!! The changes they keep making are freezing up my system. I'm seeing "Updating AOL Database" more than anything else. And their customer service over in India is horrible: Women named "Cathy" who can barely speak English and don't solve the problem.
Can anyone suggest a good internet provider?

I am very happy with Comcast (high speed cable)....
I was not thrilled with Verizon DSL -- too many fluctuations in bandwidth

Posted: 12/30/04 at 3:44pmI'm also finding that Comcast is pretty good. It seems all providers have their isues at one time or another but I certainly am more satisfied with them than I was with AOL.

I've been fed up with CompuServe for some time but due to a strange glitch in my computer, I can't seem to get any other provider.
It seems that AOL and COMPUSERVE (it's poor sister) have moved their telephone banks to India where all the operators speak for a script but can't think on their own. I went through HELL before I finally got the rebate I was due.
