I've never heard of this before. Has anyone seen it?

I am a great admirer of Deathtrap, although this looks to be a darker story.

For a moment, I flashed back to that sitcom with Kirstie Alley. But that was a "closet," not a "room."

This does sound intriguing. I wish them luck! And I hope it's good.

The original production had quite an impressive cast. I kind of remember hearing about it at the time, although I've never seen or read it.
Veronica's Room IBDB

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

With the Inevitable Streep, no doubt.

Very cool. I never saw it but I have always been very intrigued by the play.

Holy crap, I saw a production of this when I was in college and I loved it. I've always thought it would make a great movie.

Saw it twice. Difficult play to perform. Creepy dark with crap in it for crap's sake. Only saw it a second time because I knew one of the performers. He didn't get his character, and neither apparently did anyone else in the cast.

That said, it could make a good movie I think if there was something added to the plot. Such as ... a plot.

Props to them for thinking outside the box. Levin had another Broadway thriller in the eighties called CANTORIAL, which also sounded interesting.

I saw the original production. All I remember is a stunning set. Eileen Heckert and someone wearing a very bad wig.
