It's spelled correctly, Austindarling, but it's improper usage of that word.
"By Scott" would be authorship credit. You're a writer, you should know that.

It's not a conspiracy, it's a line from both PYGMALION and MY FAIR LADY.
R&C is doing pretty well, Tink. The reviews have been good to raves, the audiences seem to be enjoying it and the past two days ticket sales have been through the roof.
