If I had to transfer all my CDs back on to a computer, I would DIE!!! That's why I've made my iPod a hard drive and transferred all my music on to it, so I could, if I had to, copy it onto a new computer!

I wasn't really anticipating my house being struck by lightning.


It just sort of happened, and then POOF! No music.


It's not such a big deal to me. I have no iPod, just a crappy mp3, so I rely a lot on CD's anyway.

That happened to my friend's house! Mind you, we live in this city within Miami called Coral Gables. This city is basically an old spanish colonial type town. Where houses were built in the early 1900s. For example, mine was built 1939!! They're all tested and renovated so no one will die, obviously, but my friends house is a huge mansion type house built in 1922! It still had old plumbing! Once the lightning bolt hit, electricity was effed up and the plumbing basically exploded!!!

They had to renovate THE WHOLE house!!

I love my iPod...it's my baby!

When our house was hit (a month or two ago), it hit the corner where my room is. All the tacks in my wall flew out (I still can't find them all!)and it killed all my light bulbs. The computer smelled like burned plastic and the cable was out for days. Fun stuff!
