ok what happened


ok i work for viedo rental chain, i was the only one working around 9:30 tonight, i got some ink on my hands from a ink pad i went to the restroom to wash up, i come out and look out the large window of the store i see 5 cops cars come speeding in, i run up to the fround and look out toward the winn dixie supermarket, and i see 5 cops with guns drawn , with 3 in back of them with rifles pointed toawrds the front door, with 3 hiding around the corner with guns drawn as well. first thought, OH *&*&(*& THERE GETTING ROBBED, i looked around my store, saw i was alone ran to the frount doors, and locked them, hit the floor and crawled to the back office, and run to the phone and call my co-manager, she freaks out, and is like LOCK THE DOOR and im like i did, im back ther 30 mins and i desided to peek out, i see a ambulance and more cops cars and tons o cops. i run to the door and ask the cops, is it safe , they tell me they think there is one guy loose, and to lock myself back in which i do. another 30 mins, i look out and see them putting a guy in the back of a cop car, i go and ask the cops, and there like we are checking all the neigboring stores, them came in with 2 ak-47's a police dog, and search every part of my store. by this timeit's closing so i close up and run down to teh dominos in the same plaza, and chat with them, appently it was 3 men, one is now dead one wounded and one captured, my store is 40 seconds from winn-dixie, all i can think, is, wow it could have been my store, i came home and have been in non stop company of the cows, and crew, all i can think is for the grace of 20 feet, it could have been me, thank good no winn dixie shopers or staff were hurt,



thank god for the rum i had too on my 3rd drink, and wow, some of you are looking HOT

Oh wow, Harris, thank god you're all right. That sounds completely awful.

(BTW, I'm assuming I'm one of the ones who's starting to look hot. hehe)

You seemed to keep your composure really well in that situation, good for you. Let's hope that not everyone has to go through that. My grandfather used to manage a chain of Stop 'n' Go stores and he's been robbed at gunpoint several times. Seems like it puts a whole new perspective on things.
