awww, tazzy, that's why you are my #1 bitch!
Thanks chico!!!
Chico, the priest joke would only work if you were a boy.

Yes.
(That was to Taz)
Linnie, at least you're trying to compose things. Every time I sit down to try, I end up just picking out the notes to a song I already know. I remember as a kid being so proud of a song I "wrote", then playing it for my dad who started singing along. Guess I wasn't quite as original as I thought.
all 3 of my CD's arrived from amazon, yay!!
chico -- isn't that fun though! I always thought is was kind of a benchmark when I couldn't fit into my clothes anymore...but then it always took me five months to show and then I looked like I was carrying triplets overnight.
Chico, you're a composer? Awesome. So am I.

A lot of people do that chico!
I'm almost finished a musical I've been working on for over a year now. it was originally supposed to be a two-man job, but my friend who i took on board kept coming up with tunes, and I kept telling him where I'd heard it before. He ended up writing the lyrics for two numbers and the music for one. I wrote the other 250 pages of music, and the entire script.
And I'm still finishing the orchestrations, 15 months after conception.
You guys are all so talented....I seriously wish I had a creative bone it my body...alas, I only have the ability to make snarky commentaries about society.

Someone needs to do that!
Nah, taz I kind of gave it up due to utter lack of talent. I much prefer trying to play things I hear just by ear instead.
RG, I'm just happy I'm starting to look pregnant instead of like I drank too much beer. Now we're on to the next stage - naming the child, hopefully before he/she turns 30.
RG you are a mother. That takes way more talent than I will ever have.
Pink -what else besides Wild Party?
That's pretty good timing, Linnie. I've been working on one musical for nearly three years now. I'd better not say any more than that because the composer of that show reads this thread. LYB!

Who?!
No one you know, Linnie. He doesn't post all that much, and never on this thread.
Mine has been in development for 5 years Deet. Thank god we're finally getting somewhere. And I too must say no more.
chico - Oh that was never fun. My first was utterly uncreative I went with my ex hubby middle name. I wanted to name him Jack Henry... but since his last name is attached to a famous Jack already I hesitated. He holds that against me now.
Taz -- yeah,...it's take a tons of creativity to raise people and I tend to dismiss it, but you're right it's definitely a talent. Thanks for reminding me.

RG, I never knew your surname was the Ripper!
LOL! that was funny.
I was gonna say Sprat.
Dawson?
hehe. That's funny linnie. You've no idea how close to accurate in nature you are to the level of inbred and insane behavior on that side of the family.
But it is indeed my former spouses name- not mine, therefore they are also annoyed that I did not given them my name as middle names...truthfully I never really though about it until I met my best friend who did that.

Do they use your surname or your ex's?
