It was alright. The question asked about an epic hero, but I don't remember talking about the qualities of an epic hero in class.

One part of an epic hero is the journey they take to become the hero. They usually start off very normal, and through the adventure they take, along with the turmoils and hardships, they find the part of them to become more than they ever thought possible.
