I wanted so bad to like it.

I mean, I liked it, but found it to be SOOO MUCH. I understand it was supposed to be over the top fairy tale but, James Marsden's character was SO annoying!

I felt that way about Hairspray too. I WANTED to like it, and as much as I enjoyed Christopher Walken's dancing, I just couldn't seem to get into it at all.

I loved it as well...some of my friends didn't like it and I don't understand why.

It's not that I thought it was bad, I've just never really been a fan of Hairspray for some reason...I guess its just not my style.

I feel like it'd be a fun show to be in. I just love big dance shows. Not that it's such a HUGE dance show, but it's fun!

Love the original Waters film! HATED this musical variation! Especially Travolta's Edna.

Almost everyone I've talked to dislikes John Travolta's Edna. I didn't mind it that much!

I didn't like that wierd accent he did. but then I heard some real Baltimore accents and he absolutely nailed it.

Travolta's Edna just looked too bizarre to be taken seriously. For one, they made his face fatter, which made his eyes even more close-set. Someone once said he looked like a rag doll sewn by the blind. LOL!
