So true matty. (about that last part).
My allergies are worse than ever today. Claritin really doesn't help anymore.
That's fine, Matty - I understand that. What I don't understand is the extent to which these people take their fantasies about the performers they admire. It borders, if not surpasses, the psychopathic. No wonder Sutton Foster doesn't stage door - I'd be afraid of these people too.
I didn't even know Sutton Foster was that big of a Broadway star.

You'll have to post that on the main board and see what you get. Its no good over here.
Outside of New York and her incredibly rabid fan base, she's not, Matty. She is talented, and she's always working, though.
Oh. Well good for her then.
Trying to get me killed, DGG?
She's very talented, she's young, and her roles thus far (with the possible exclusion of Janet in the Drowsy Chaperone) have been squarely in the teenybopper girl-power or mainstream blockbuster veins. She has a fairly rabid fanbase within the younger theatre community, if nowhere else. As for being a STAR, I don't know, but she has had a great run of original roles.
(Plus she landed Christian Borle... damn.)
So did LBB if the rumors are to be believed.
Speaking of... well, nothing, but still... if any of you haven't watched this, you must.
Cher is Tony. And Maria. And Anita. And Bernardo. And the Jets. MAGIC.
So I just sent Sutton a dozen roses, 2 HUGE gift baskets from Dean and DeLuca, sat outside her window and sang "I'm Sorry" for 6 hours, then sent a suicide bomber into the League's offices.
Too much?
I love you, Taz, I really do.
If you'd met half the people at the League, I'd say it wasn't enough. Hope you aimed for the Marketing Department!
I mean... what?
I just know she's crushed. Don't we have a responsibility to our stars? Where is the outrage, people?
On the main board, Taz.
I don't understand. What's a "main board"?
It's something I intend to stay away from until after the Tony Awards.
How are you, btw?
I avoid the main board ALL the time.
I'm good. How are you Deet?
Busy, ending the semester at school and getting plans for next season set at work, but basically good. It's like old times here today, isn't it?
I could say so many mean things right now.
But instead I'll say:
yes! It's like the old times!
At least SOMEONE made an old joke so I didn't have to. Whew.
Oh Sam. Don't ever change.
The comments I had in mind had nothing to do with Deet.
Kasie, you can hide, but we'll find you. There is no safe place in here.
As long as my hairline holds off on its upward ascent for a while longer, I won't!
