I'm traumatized.
It's almost as bad as the time I put a shoe on (no socks) and felt something weird in it. I kicked it off and it landed on my mothers foot. She kicked it off and a HUGE roach crawled out.

I yelped just reading that.

I've been trying to get Hub to take me to the Art Institute in Chicago so I can listen to SITPWG while looking at the actual painting.
I'm very into the arts, but not art.
I have never gotten some of the modern artists.
The same thing happened to me in Guatemala, Robbie. I was, like, 7 and I'd just woken up and went to slip on my shoes standing up (sans socks, too) and I felt something squirming around. That jolted me wide awake. I yelped and landed backward on my butt. Meanwhile, the shoe had turned sideways and the bugger crawled out, slowly at first and then it just made a beeline for the crack in the wall.

I just saw Barrett Foa in a toothbrush commercial.
I've mentioned that I used to play with roaches in Guatemala (that's not different from kids playing with ants or bugs here), so they don't make my skin crawl. But I was completely taken by surprise that morning, being half-awake and all.
really mauri? I didn't know he was in commercials.
It's like Q weekend for you!

At least it wasn't a Palmetto bug! They're about the size of a shoe!
I'm sleeping with my Raid can by my side!
We see a lot in the house when it rains. They all come in! When I was younger, I'd wake my dad up to kill it. But these past couple years I'd grown some balls and wasn't really afraid of them at all. But since I've been a year away from home in CT - I've yet to see one up there, which I'm happy about - I've lost my ability to face them!

It is, Taz, which works for me. I love that show. I was so psyched when I learned that it was opening in Chicago on my birthday.

You know, since I've been in Miami, I had seen that commercial about a million times and never connected the two although I found his face familiar.

I had to do a double-take, and then I googled it to make sure I wasn't nuts.
taz, I think Barrett was featured in those GAP/WEST SIDE STORY comercials back in 2000.
I never saw those commercials, but I do recall people taking about then now that you mention it stagey.
