And that, my dearest Deet, is why I never posted the close call I had almost being unemployed.

I credit Sesame Street with everything academic I've ever accomplished. I had an overly paranoid babysitter when I was a toddler, so instead of going to the playground, she sat me in front of her soap operas and Sesame Street. That's also why I'm gay, btdubs.
Oh, and I've said it before and I'll say it again, but Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper is a gift from the gods.

Dear Smirnoff Cocktails commercial,
You do NOT make a mojito with vodka. That is a SIN. A greater sin even than buttsex. Eff off and die.
Love,
Sam
a mojito with vodka??? EWWWW!
"The Lion King... was my very first Broadway show."
Mine was BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.
My first show was Mamma Mia.
Sam, I'm also really excited for the Tonys. Can't wait to see the original cast of Rent and, more importantly, Sondheim's acceptance speech.

The first Broadway show I saw was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The first Broadway show I saw ON Broadway, though, was POTO.
BatB was my first stage show (musical or play) ever! (Not counting the community theater productions I was dragged to on various school field trips.)

Of course, now that I think about it, my first Broadway theater was the Gershwin because we did the Wicked tour first.
mauri, how was Dreamcoat? I've always wanted to see it.

It was brilliant! But I was around 10 years old, so I was easily impressed.
And now I shall sleep since phase 1 of the big move is tomorrow. Night, amigos.
I love JOSEPH...! 'Tis a fun show -- and the CD is a fun listen, too. I recommend the Donny Osmond version. He's my fave Joseph. All the Narrators tend to sound the same -- except for Amy Adams. I saw her in the tour (with Patrick Cassidy as Joseph) and she was amazing! By far the highlight of the dang thing.
Any Dream Will Do has to be one of my all-time favorite Broadway songs. I just learned it on piano! I've seen Donny Osmond do it on a DVD I have and I just LOVE IT.
When did you see it stagey?
I saw it in November 2005 when it came to Boston.
For stagey and taz:
day 1 of scuba certification.
DID YOU KNOW?
Scuba is actually an acronym for Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus.
Kas: Thanks! *drool*
Good morning all!
Stagey, I did know that scuba was an acronym! Laser is an acronym as well (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation).
Good god, Thomas Jane is yummy.

My first Broadway show was Avenue Q. But I've done my homework since then!
Did you know SNL is a acronym for Saturday Night Live?
