Well, free booze is always a plus, and male attention is too, friendly or otherwise. I don't want to get with this friend, but having him bring me alcohol and come to spend time alone with me is nice. I mean, I definitely wouldn't have objected to going to the club, especially if I got drunk enough, but at the rate I was going (I ate too much before he came), I wasn't going to be drunk enough to go before I got too tired to bother.

I once knew someone who was so messed up, she left her car running for an hour, and didn't realize it until someone knocked on her door and told her the music from the car was too loud and they were trying to sleep.
