Lucky!!! We were supposed to have a mock shooting at my high school with blank bullets and everything. Even with escape vehicles and buses to pack us in and take us away. But it fell through, we had a hurricane and had to cancel it. That's when the whole Columbine incident occurred.
Our high school did that. Besides the accident, we had ten or so students go around school as dead people. They wore black, and their faces were painted to resemble skulls. It was really creepy.
Also, there was a mock funeral for the two kids who mock died in the mock crash. That was really weird. Two closed caskets on the stage, with photographs. Family members gave speeches. Then, the two mock dead people came out in black with the face paint and stood next to the caskets.
The dead people couldn't talk to anyone. They were supposed to represent the memories of our lost friends. I know a few of them, too.
Is your school doing any of that? Or just the car crash?

I'm not sure. There are quite a few kids involved, and I saw a bunch of microphones being brought in for it, so it should be pretty intense. There's a meeting about it tomorrow.
My school only has 400 kids, maybe a little less. Its going to be creepy, because everybody knows everybody else.
So that's roughly 100 per class? I graduated with 117.
The school I went to at the time (freshman year) was a little bit bigger, with an average of 300 in each class.

My class is less than 100...probably a bit over 80. So yeah, give or take.
We have a very small system. Our town is tiny. I'm learning to appreciate it a lot more, now.
I don't miss my small town at all.
In a lot of ways, Las Vegas is small. It may be famous and a huge tourist attraction, but not a lot happens in our neck of the woods.
I am officially done with classes for my sophomore year of college.
How ****ed up is that?!
naw it's cool, now u have time to see your boy more

Wow. Do you feel all empty?
I'm feeling weird about being almost done with high school.
I have one more class Monday night and then I'm freeeee.
And by free... I mean I only have two 20-page papers, a final article, and a take-home final to do. Yay!
My boy who lives in godd*mn Florida?! grrr...
Empty is hardly a word I'd use to describe it. After the ridiculousness that was this year, I'm ready for a nice long break. Don't worry DGG, I don't miss high school at all.
i thought he lived in philly?

I was so excited, as was Ralph. He was going to direct and choreograph. He'd shown us some of the choreography, which was brilliant.
Oh well...
Apparently we're doing ACL my Junior year...

Some freshman are going to be pissed.
About 2 or 3 had jury pieces from JCS and they were made to change them because we were supposed to do JCS next year. Now we're doing TOMMY and they had to find and learn a new piece.
He goes to school in Philly. He's from Florida, which means my life is going to be incredibly inconvenient for the summer. Thank God he's coming soon to stay here for a few days!
Try realizing that you're about to be a JUNIOR... in COLLEGE, when it seems like you were just in high school. Yikes!
It's so weird to think that college is half over. I can still literally remember everything that happened my move-in day freshman year. Craaaazy.

Two of the schools I auditioned at were doing TOMMY. The set design at SUNY Cortland was stunning, as were the ensemble pieces. I was impressed.
Who wants to write my essay?
