I'm coming to NYC this December. I was there last December. And the December before that.

Hello Tinkywoodles!
Let me know how your plans go, DGG! Hope they shape up well.
Does this mean we should plan an Avatar gathering for the young'uns? Too bad we're not in SoCal. Otherwise, I'd suggest Camp Snoopy at Knott's Berry Farm.

Hi, everybody!
Hi, Tink!
I am soooo tired after my day yesterday - I had shows all day out in the heat at Disneyland (the theater is a covered outdoor amphitheater), and then rehearsal for a staged reading from 7pm - 11pm - but I'm looking forward to a relatively uneventful day until rehearsal again tonight.

Hey erika! Haven't spoken to you in a long time. What show are you in in Disney?

Hey taz! My piano arrived today! It's gorgeous. Thought of you smashing solos out when it arrived.
Hiya erika! That does sound like quite a full day!!
Hiya DGG, linnie, SM2, and tazzy hunny! How is everyone?
Is it me or have there been little to no jaily sightings????

Hi, guys!
It's called the Disney Princess Fantasy Faire. It's really just a silly little show for the kids. I'm paired with Sir Elias (I play Lady Lillian), and we sing a little madrigal-esque song, teach the kids a very simple minuet-style dance, show them how to curtsy and/or bow, talk about various vitues, etc., and then we introduce the Princesses, who then do a little maypole skippy thing with the kids, etc. It's cute. We also tell stories throughout the day. Lady Lillian tells the Belle, Aurora, and Jasmine stories - with help from the respective Princesses, of course. Although right now, there's an added role in the show (the Royal Page), who tells most of the stories (I still tell Belle), so they can have us do more "Coronations" (what the little show is called). But the Royal Page position will be gone at the end of the summer.
ETA: Yep, Tink, it was kind of exhausting. :-P

vmlinnie: Unless you'd been to the park recently (since October of 2006), no, you wouldn't have. Like I said, it's an original show for the kids.
SM2: Nope. I'm just a sub now (by choice - so I only work there once in while, if they happen to call me and I feel like going in), which means no more sign-in privileges. I still get in free, myself, but that's it. Sorry!
boobs: LOL!
I'm not so sure about that Taz - there are quite a few Long Island girls who'd enjoy it too.
