Leave them overnight, and in the morning your clothes will smell as fresh as a daisy, with not one whiff of either the smoke or the vinegar. Of course, the clear vinegar will have turned an indescribable shade of shocking yellow, like something your cat did and ran away from.

Rubbing freshly squeezed lemon juice on your hands after smoking, followed by a nicely scented moisturizing cream, usually helps to remove the smell of tobacco smoke from your hands.
