Speaking of cigarettes, did you know that you can get the smell of cigarette smoke out of your clothes by hanging them over a bowl of simple white vinegar? Leave them overnight, and in the morning your clothes will smell as fresh as a daisy, with not one whiff of either the smoke or the vinegar. Of course, the clear vinegar will have turned an indescribable shade of shocking yellow, like something your cat did and ran away from.

Rubbing freshly squeezed lemon juice on your hands after smoking, followed by a nicely scented moisturizing cream, usually helps to remove the smell of tobacco smoke from your hands.

If you put an aspirin or two in a vase filled with lukewarm water, it will keep your fresh cut flowers fresher longer!

Thanks, DGG. Sue Ann is gone. I'm back to somewhat normal.
oh - update - the "rash" seems to be getting better. It itches more than ever but looks like it has started to clear up. I guessy the hydrocortisone was the trick.
I was just going to ask you how that was going, Tink! Glad to hear it's getting better.
Is it me, or is today just dragging on and on and on and on...

Glad it's not just me then. I'm outta here at 4:00. Gonna have coffee with someone, and then go home and nap. Yes, I can nap after coffee.

Tink always has the coolest avs. This one is so close to mine in color values though that earlier when I was catching up I thought "wait a minute, I didn't write this!" Duh.
I just bought my little sister a $500 cell phone. Meanwhile, I still have my crappy ass Motorola. Oh, and I got a mani/pedi. My first ever. (Okay, I'd better start acknowledging other people before this starts sounding like another of Akiva's posts.) Hope all is well with everyone.
