polly, that reminds me of the $1,000 omelet at New York's Le Parker Meridien. It contains lobster and caviar.

Stagey: Here's the thing: I don't have the money for it at this point in my life, but I could see it possibly happening if I were wealthy enough. I'd like to try it once. Sort of like Kobe beef. (I did try that once, but I'm not sure it was TRULY the real deal.) I happen to love cured ham (prosciutto di parma being my fave - but that's only $22.00 a pound!), so like I said, if money were no object, I'd probably shell out the bucks just to check it out.

i've heard of those omelets stagey. and i wouldn't eat that either. i like lobster and i like caviar but not in my eggs thank you. i barely tolerate the eggs themselves sometimes.

Last month (July 20th) was the anniversary of my adoption. Today (August 20th) is the anniversary of my mother's death. I know you can't tell from my cheery posts, but I have the blue devils.
