Taz and Tink and the others seem to be out. I've just finished watching a show on TV about Economics, all doom and Gloom, and a profiteering presenter more interesed making a quick buck than thinking about the possible housing recession he's just set off by panic factor, and the hundreds of families like mine trying to sell houses right now who he's f***ed up because no one is going to want to buy our house now, and we won't be able to move into our new house, and the deal will fall through. Half of Ireland was watching.
Thanks a lot, d***head.
The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.
