So basically when you get the package in the mail you take a test, and it tells you what type metabolism you have. Once you find that out they'll have a food plan for your type. (So your eating for YOUR metabolism type.)
Also, you have to go through some different physical body types and piece together yours. They give you a matching exercise plan.
If you can't cook the diet might be a little hard to follow the first few days. But, by now I'm used to it.
and how expensive is this thing and what else does it entail?
I think I ended up paying around 24 or 25 dollars with shipping and handling. It's comes with all the different meal and work out plans for every work-out and eating plan. A few CD's and DVD's explaining what the diet is about and giving directions. And DVD showing you the workouts.
and does it actually work is the real question? have you actually seen results?

I am yawning. But my dear sweet friend bought me a new coffee pot!! I'll unpack it tomorrow. I'm falling asleep sitting up. Too many late nights between studying and insomnia. But I may have found a solution to my insomnia... my history book.

I gained 1 + size in the past year since I quit smoking. While I still look healthy and technically shouldn't complain, it is something I am not used too.

i know. i hate diets though. and when i'm not sitting home all day everyday i really don't eat that much... and i don't eat candy or anything, so that's not really the issue. i just need to lose the rest of my gut. i'd be happy with that.
well it is impossible to just "lose" one part of your body. You can tone up more specifically one part, but technically fat falls of your body in "sheets". But dieting is as much of a key to overall long term weight loss as exercise is. Most people cannot effectively pull off one without the other. But dieting and doing a lot of crunches and such would definitely help target your tummy area (as well as back!).
(yes, i know, I can give all this advice and then just not bother taking it myself! hehe)
oh i know tink. it's just that the rest of me isn't bad... just gotta lose the gut. and i know diet is as much a part of it, but i've got that part down... like, i used to love junk food and i really don't eat it anymore and stuff.
Well that is definitely a step in the right direction! I really don't eat bad in comparison to a lot of people, but still i could use to cut down more.
i just really REALLY hate grocery shopping. so i refuse to go. therefore there's not junk food in the house usually.
Well if I don't do the grocery shopping there would be no food in the house period, lol. Except milk. Buzz picks up milk almost everyday on his way home (he drinks so much of it). But otherwise, no me, him and Pebbles would starve, lol.
