Oh.
It's not too shocking, but still, the antics of this board amaze me. I love it here, but people truly scare me sometimes.
If jrb said it's closing, then it is.
I am so upset. So, so upset. I could just cry.
The one show I wanted desperately to see.
I hear ya, Tink - it does get out of control sometimes, and the last two days have been wild!
I just told Buzz and he is claiming that I am the black cloud of broadway. The two shows I was hoping to see again this summer were Tarzan and GG, and both are closing, lol!
What, you didn't want to see COMPANY again?
No but I did just see it in April.
Let's get 5000 posts by midnight (pacific standard time)!!
That's right, I remember now.
Well, I was hoping to catch GG again, but I'm not sure I'll be able to fit it in over the next month. At least I saw it once.
Evan I am not staying up until 3am NY time and if you start the next one, trust me it won't be pretty around here.
exactly D2! I would love to see it again, but I'm glad I got to experience it once. Hmmm, what can we have Matt go and get naked in now???
I will write a show for him for you. Taz can write the score.
YAY!!!!! I'm all for that idea!
What should it be?
hmmm, I dunno, but as long as he stays shirtless throughout and sings, I'm happy!
Well, let me think about what it could be. STAR TREK, the musical? He could play Captain James T. Kirk, who contractually had to appear shirtless at least once in every episode?
awesome!!! Oh the euphemisms that could ensure.... :)
And on that note, I need to go and watch L&O with Buzz. Have a great night all!
You too, Tink. I'm signing off too. BEHAVE, everyone!
I got to watch the great L&O:SVU episode with Jonathan Tucker.
MMM... Jonathan Tucker... *wipes up the drool*
I won't start #7 without you, D2.
I'm in mourning over Grey Gardens. Ugh.
I'm also totally in love. What's going on with all of you?
Did Grey Gardens close, or something?
I haven't been keeping up.
It's most likely closing on July 29th.
Just went over to the main board and read up. What a shame.
I'll drink to those two wonderful ladies!
I'm officially in mourning. GG was perhaps one of my favorite shows. The second act was IMHO as close to perfect as musical theatre can be.
ab99, I feel your pain kiddo.
