Why can't I sleep?
Ugh.
Just popping in for a quick moment....
Why do you hate AC Jaily??
No Linnie! We had dinner, then went for drinks. I came home after and Jay went over to his ex's to **** madly.
The whole point of my going was so that wouldn't happen. So very Jason.
How was the zoo hunny?
So cute. We had fun. I love the Lions!

Aww taz! *hugs*
Btw, I have to add Ragtime to my to do list, with Lippa's Wild Party and Sweeney. I'm loving what I've heard on BWW Radio. Pity they only play the same track or two over and over from each show.
Did you take pictures for me?????
I was just listening to Ragtime today Linnie. I think it may be my favorite cast album. I still get chills at so many points.
We didn't take pics Pinky.
But I have some new shots I'm uploading this week.
I was noticing that SM. Linnie, and myself are all reality-based intelectuals. We are so cool!

Yes we are!
I heard the 'Ragtime Symphonic Suite', and my jaw dropped, I just put down my pen, and listened, it was amazing! I loved Ahrens and Flaherty, but that was a new experience for me.
woohoo more sexy Taz pics!
Linnie - I am actually really enjoying Lippa's Wild Party. I've listened to most of it and Julia & Taye's voices really stand out. Idina just sounds like Idina. It is very quirky and different than most of what I've been listening to lately, so that's been nice. It was perfect music to listen to while I was working out on the eliptical today. I have Ragtime and have listened to a lot of it as well, and so far so good.

Eyedeena is in it?!?!?! I HAVE to GeT iT NoW!
Do you love The Life Of The Party Tink?
And Ragtime is AMAZING. I can't say it enough. I play stride piano/ragtime that would make a cripple dance. I write in that idiom a lot.

It's very rare something just stops me in my tracks like that. It happened when I first listened to my Les Mis Full Symphonic, the opening chords were really powerful. It also happened when I first heard my 'stage mother' singing Something Wonderful in rehearsals for the King and I. She was amazing.
Oh, I meant to add, the Association of Irish Musical Societies awards were on tonight, and we won Best Visuals! Costumes/Sets/Make up. Great step for a group as small as ours.
I remember really wanting to read the book (Ragtime) when I was younger. I think i actually took it out of the library but never got to it. I put it on my amazon.com book list.
The Life of the Party made me think of my wilder years, lol!

Aww, Tink! You're not that old!
in comparison to the life I led when I was 16/17/18 to the life I lead now....TOTALLY different lol!
I also love The Juggernaut. What a great dance song.
That came on when I was at the height of my work out and really kept me into it, lol!
Usually I just put my MP3 player on random mode, and it never fails that when I am working out all the slow songs will play and kinda kick me out pace. But I just played this album through today and it really helped keep me motivated.
My only real exposure to Julia had been the Chess benefit concert, and I really wasn't that fond of her on it. This show really shows a better side of her vocals.
it's one of those albums that the more you play it the more you become addicted to it.
I had to go and out on Ragtime now. God I love this.
I fell in love with Stokes when I saw him at spelling bee: broadway night. So adorable. I really need to just put a few hours aside and just listen to Ragtime OBCR all the way through.
you should. It's an experience. Anyhoo, it looks like we are putting a movie in.
We are about to leave as well. I'm going to be bored, so if you start getting text messages later, you'll know why, lol!
