I'm really excited about the new book. My friends and I always attend the midnight parties for it's release, then read like crazy until we finish. I'm hoping to get that weekend off of work.
My mom is picking on me to win my chicken show thats coming up. I don't care anymore, but she's putting her foot down. Ugh.

And I just love that all of you think I'm little!
Yeah, a chicken show. I show chickens, and since probably none of you know what it is, I can say that I'm pretty good at it too, lol!

Not really, SM2. Real chickens. I'll find a picture.
Why am I reminded of Rose Nylund all of a sudden?
DGG, you don't live in St. Olaf, do you?

Nope, a little town in CT.
I couldn't find a good chicken picture, but we'll see if this works. I'm the skinny one with the white ribbon...

OK, I show chickens. And beef, dairy, swine, sheep, goats, rabbits, dogs, and llamas. And sometimes I win!
The reviews are in for XANADU over on the main board. Fairly positive across the board, with a near rave from Charles Isherwood in the TIMES.
I want a llama.
i was reading that, D2! But even with positive reviews, I don't expect the show to last more than a few months. Unless the Xanadu camp really stalk it out everyday.
You mean the Fanadus. *retch*
Why do you want a llama, Tink?

I hate llamas.
I'm off to bed. Goodnight lovies!
i dunno, D2! It's always been a cute joke with Buzz and I. We want a llama.
I always wanted a pushme-pullyu.
Goodnight, DGG.
a what?
Middy, I mean from watching the movie ending I couldn't tell that no one believed him.
But, now that I think about it I might be wrong.
I think them not believing him is not addressed until the next book. When the kids have had a summer full of parental and media influence.
I owned this book as a kid:
In fact, I even had the accompanying cassette.
It was one of the animals in the Rex Harrison DR. DOOLITTLE film. It was a llama like creature that had a head at each end. There for Push me - Pull you. Get it?
ahhh, okies
