D2 - one of our theatre-going companions said after FROST/NIXON - "Well, they really captured the tedium of the original interviews." (And yes, he was old enough to have seen them - he did, in fact.)
BUT, we all agreed that Langella was staggering - he even made ME feel sorry for Nixon, and that man was the first real 'villain' I knew in this lifetime.
I agree, DG - The play held my interest, but mainly because of the performances, and staggering is a good word to describe Langella.
I'm old enough to have seen the interviews but I didn't, although I do remember Nixon's resignation vividly.

D2 - I'm old enough, too - but I was too busy with . . . other things
Probably the same thing I was, uhm, busy with.

YAY! Hi guys! Weekend time!
Yes, D2, my opinion of CURTAINS has changed. I had such a ball last night.
How are y'all doing tonight?
Hiya foster sweetie!
Oh, so now you're buddies with Foster after all I went through?
Trying out for Elphaba again, Stagey?
I'm listening to a Renee Olstead, Jamie Cullum, and Jill Scott Mix while cleaning MY KITCHEN. I REALLY hope I can get to NY before Curtains closes.
Hi Tinkalicious! Hi Essemto! Hi Deet!
