Sorry, DGG, the best I can do is that I'm watching Talk Soup and drinking juice cut with seltzer.
Well obviously anybody who is here posting at the moment isn't doing anything too exciting, DGG.
I did see an interesting new play this evening though - in some basement theatre in the east village. I GOOGLE MYSELF - really funny, really creepy, really well written, produced and performed.
That sounds good! Let me know if you want to see it again.
I would except that it is in the middle of its final performance right now. But I think it might have a life of some kind. It got a pretty good review in TIME OUT this week, and it was completely sold out. My lawyer is one of the producers, so I'll let you know what happens and if it is going to get another production.
Cool.
Deet--I am nervous and a little scared and ANXIOUS about the interview Monday. Hopefully they like me enough to hire me. I am just glad I didn't go ahead and call the unemployment office Friday and let them know I had the job. that would have been bad if I don't get hired.

Well, i'm off to bed. Goodnight lovies!
You know I'm thinking positive thoughts for you, DJ.
Hey DG, how are you?
(A lot of Ds on the thread tonight.)
But DGG, I was just going to let you share in the joy of the shiny jewelry I cleaned earlier!
Your loss.
Thanks Deet. I ask that everyone send HARD positive thoughts my way Monday at 4:30pm. **shivers**
Oh I can see where this thread is going to go now.
Yes, Rath - away from you and onto DJ. Or DG. Or DGG. Or D2.
You must be tired.
*SM2 comes to the rescue*
TA! Ta! TAH!
*hands on hips, cape flowing*
I am listening to "Floyd Collins" for the first time and it is REALLY good.
I never really got into that show. Maybe I'll give it another shot.
STAGEY!!! hiya babe!
and Rath, I want to hear about the jewels, not hear about cleaning the jewels
And no, boys, i don't mean the family jewels either *eye roll*
That's not this particular crowd of boys, Polly.
Hey Stagey!
Oh, wait, Polly, I spoke to soon.
Polly, I SWEAR I wasn't thinking that.
Hey kiddies. We just got back from going to a car show and then to the driving range. Talk about a good work out, lol!
but polly, family jewels are the only ones that our boys like.
I had a few bracelets that I had forgotten how gorgeous they are - one gold with amethysts, one platinum with sapphires, and one marcasite - until I cleaned them.
And a very special necklace that a friend had given me had become a bit tarnished (from Tiffany, sterling silver) and since I'm seeing her tomorrow, I wanted to wear it. It's back to its old stunning self. Yay.
Has anyone ever heard Rath sing Marguerite's "Jewel" aria from FAUST?
I didn't think so.
