Awwww - that's no fun! Well, keep an eye out if you're ever in a video store - it's good for an entertaining couple of hours.
And what are you doing up so late?!?!?
I should talk . . .

Ah. I saw that you hadn't been feeling well - talk about no fun!
Hopefully the medicine will help.

We went and got a little storage unit for my utility room, and then spent the day trying to rearrange things in the house so that everything has a home. Then just relaxed and watched the flick.
My partner is an avid car design enthusiast, and tomorrow we're going to a gay classic auto club's show in Long Beach - I hope it doesn't kill him!
Monday we're going to Boob's friend Lusia's show in Hollywood. I've seen it before, but he hasn't. He also hasn't met her (I have) - but the last time we were in NYC, we had dinner with her sister and Boobs, so I'd like him to meet her, as well! And Shira will be at the show that night, too.
Sounds like a lot of fun DG. Does your husband actually design automobiles or is just a hobby?
cool dg
whats a husband? *the cows look confused*

oh sorry, I meant partner. No offense meant.
*myself and the cows still look confused*

He's just an enthusiast - a BIG enthusiast, for most of his life! He collects die-cast models of his favorite designs, and they're everywhere in our house - I think the last count was around 500 or so. And we won't discuss the STACKS of car magazines
Also, I'm not someone to recommend things sight-unseen (tastes are way too personal,) but just so you know it's available, here's a link to a place you could order the movie. Not sure it's worth that full price, though, if you don't already know you like it.
TLA Video
I buy movies all the time based on reccomendations. Thanks for the link, I'm gonna get it. I also like a lot of TLA's releases.
How many cars do you guys have?
Don't you read? He said 500.

Real cars? Just two. He got his new toy this year that he's wanted - a Lexus RX (which I think is pretty, but not overly comfortable nor easy to drive - the pedal action is strange to me.) And I have my Chrysler Town & Country (I know, how suburban - but I LOVE it!)

Taz - they mentioned BILLY'S HOLLYWOOD SCREEN KISS in that blurb, and it is pretty similar to that (although, it has much better production quality, a little more sly wit - and the list of actors speaks for itself.) But if you saw SCREEN KISS and responded well to the off-handed sensibility, light-heartedness and ultimate sweetness, you'll probably like BEDROOMS.
I did enjoy Screen Kiss. I'm kinda excited to see this one now.

You'll have to let me know what you think after you see it.
And honestly, James Purefoy! He's certainly not in the mold of the 'pretty young thing' - but he absolutely drips sensuality as the Irish bi-sexual lothario. *sigh*
I've always liked Purefoy. The last good gay film I saw was Loggerheads. Did you see that one?

Actually, no I haven't. I've heard of it, but really don't know anything about it. I suppose I could find out, huh?

Wow. I just looked at the official site - what a cast! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Michael Learned!!! And Tess Harper and Chris Sarandon?!?
And the story sounds very intriguing. I remember now reading about it when it came out - the 'turtle' thing rang a bell.
It's about mothers and sons more than anything else. It's a tale well told and I found myself really caring for the characters. I believe it's easily available.
The acting is super. Bonnie Hunt is great as always, but Tess Harper (who has been around for a long time, but I had never heard of her) steals the show.
Kip Pardue is eye candy, and gives a solid performance.

I'm definitely going to find it!
And just so you know, Tess is in a movie coming out shortly by the creators of LATTER DAYS. It's called KISS THE BRIDE, and stars Tori Spelling!
Oh wow thanks for the heads up. I LOVED Latter Days!
