Hey!

Actr, I have an update about the shooting. Spoke to my brother-in-law (the cop) Thursday night and he said some guy emptied 9 rounds into a man and his pregnant girlfriend -- over a motorcycle. They haven't caught the guy yet, but the two victims are in critical condition. I don't know them (hell, I don't know most of my neighbors), but their house is right behind my apartment. My bedroom window overlooks the crime scene.

Thanks, wizard/Actr. Everyone's always telling me to be careful (my older sister hates coming into my neighborhood), but nothing ever happens to me. *knocks wood*

BTW: Meryl Streep is a goddess! I started to watch IRONWEED tonight. Last week I rewatched THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY. I need my Meryl fix.

I think that's the scene that garnered her the nomination. wizard, be on the lookout for a revealing mistake at the end. I think it may even be the last shot.

What would you say is your favorite Meryl performance? Mine is a tie between SOPHIE'S CHOICE and THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY.

That scene is played flawlessly.

I've never actually seen all of Sophie's Choice which is widely considered to be her greatest performance... **hides**

This may be blasphemy, but I've never seen Meryl is a film before this *hides*

And I will say I think Anne Hathaway is quite underrated in this film.

Not just her greatest, Actr, but ONE of THE greatest film performances of all time. Meryl had to adopt a Polish accent (when speaking in English) and learned her Polish/German lines phonetically.

Meryl is god. I can't pick a best persormance! If pressed, i'd say A Cry In The Dark, Sophie's Choice, Out Of Africa.

Love the Ballad of A McD Deet. Classic.

Meryl is fabulous, and I second her performance in PRIME as one of her funniest. Another (underated) gem is HEARTBURN.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

I here reading the boards. I finally started reading HP last night. Now I can't put the darn thing down.

I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.
