Ivan and I are making cookies tonight, after our nap, because I am exhausted!

And we need to catch up on all our Tivo stuff.

Marriage life is so exciting!

My family is opening presents tonight. I love presents, but not doing it on Christmas (or at least Christmas Eve) seems so anticlimactic.

However, I'm seeing Sweeney in two hours, and I just saw my favorite not-famous-enough singer on TV, so it's a good night.

Back from seeing Sweeney Todd and all I can say is Wow.

Sweeney Todd(Johnny Depp)-He really surprised me with his performance. Very strong and convincing. And is voice was very Good.

Mrs. Lovett(Helena Bohnam Carter) -Very impressed by her portrayal of Mrs. Lovett, worked well with Johnny Depp on screen together.

Judge Turpin(Alan Rickman)-Supurb performance and evil as ever. And his voice surprised me somewhat.

Anthony(Jamie Campbell Bower)-OMG he was hot and his voice was beautiful. Very well cast.

Toby(Ed Sanders)-This kids voice was tremendous and whenever he was on screen he lit up the screen. Could be a star in the making.

I also loved the staging of the final scene right before the credits rolled.

Don't post spoilers like that! My eyes!

Psrty is crap. it's only half past one, they're all docile, and I'm sweeping up broken glass. Ugh.
The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

I didn't give away anything really or at least I don't see that I did. I was just expressing how I enjoyed the certain portrayals of certain characters. As for the final scene I did not go into detail of how it was done, just my opinion that it was well done.

DGG, It is I who tell you to go to bed, daughter!

Sorry, I didn't read your post, Broadway bound, all i did was see that it was about Sweeney and averted my eyes for the rest of it. Apologies.

It's not out here yet.

I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.

We had a packed auditorium.

Two girls even dressed up! One was Sweeney and the other was Lovett. I wanted their picture, but Ivan vetoed my decision.

Hey kids! Is it worth reading back?

Not especially. I didn't post much today, so it's probably not very interesting. re: Is That You In Your Avatar? Vol. 14. 'Santa Claus Got Stuck In My Chimn

Leaving to see Sweeney now, see y'all later!
