Three of four batches down now.
Let's see...DVDs of The Godfather, Thank You For Smoking and Crash, a few sweaters, lots of fuzzy socks, a new hair straightener, seasons 2 and 3 of 24 (YAY!), a David Sedaris book, a couple other more political books, several gift cards, some Bath and Body Works stuff, the softest robe of all time, a lot of chocolate and, most importantly, a $75 gift card to the Pittsburgh Cultural District to see whatever show I choose. I was so excited about that I teared up a little. I haven't gotten to see a show in so long...
Sounds like everyone else is making out well so far. It's been a nicer holiday than I expected.

Sorry - what now? Who's making out?

Fun, Geek! I was thinking of you earlier. Remember how we said all we needed to cheer us up was a college acceptanc eletter, a ginat chocolate bar, and wild sex? I've gotten the first two over the last two days...
I'm not sure this poor computer could take the strain. It gets dusty inside and dies every time we try youtube, so I'm guessing no.
And yes, I did hear it, Linnie. And I did love it!

No talk of sex in my fatherly presence, Girl!

But DaaAAAaad!
See, I could do with the third one more than the other two--I know for certain that I'll be getting into one of my schools, and it's the one I'm probably going to go to anyway, so I'm not feeling quite as much pressure. And I've got enough chocolate to keep me awake for three days straight, so you and I both just need to get laid!
Hehe.

Absolutely not.
EITHER of you.
If I can't get laid, neither can you two!
We could all just do it together! That would make life easy!
Hehe, just kidding

Oh, so it's a jealousy thing. I see.
Well in that case, I totally agree Geek. If only.
Funny, because I'm totally not like that usually.
Even if Linnie thinks I'm a slut...I kid!

Together, Geek?
You both have vaginas. I have about as much chance of wanting to screw that as to screw myself into a plug socket.
Fine then, DGG and I shall just have to go on without you, I suppose.

My daughter - the dyke. I'm so proud!

Ha! I posted at the same time as Geek and it reads completely wrong, lol!
Yeah, actually I'm with Linnie on that one. Vaginas and boobs just don't do it for me.
Well, darn then, guess I'm screwed.
Or not screwed. That's the point, though, I guess.

This thread is going SO fast!
DGG, liking anything apart from the opposite sex is far more trouble than it's worth. If it's a matter of choice, steer clear, clever girl.
ETA: Geek, there's always that plug socket.

I suppose I could go either way. I'm definitely more inclined to the male instrument, if it comes to it though.
Plug socket...every time I read it I giggle.

Stick with your instincts. We'll have to discuss male instruments some time.
Speaking of which, my sax is fab!
Anyway...

The need for a younger Avatarian party grows more and more apparent.
Play that sax! Wow, I am so immature...
Yes, the male instrument is a bit more appealing, but there are always replacements that can be just as much fun...
Sorry, I have such a dirty mind today. Bad Geek!

The Geek goes dirty! Filth!
I actually need to kit out my new instrument a bit, now that I remember it. A new mouthpiece and a stand. I have a clarinet stand, and when my friends who know about my sexuality see it (which is most of them by now), they make jokes about me using it as one of those items Geek mentioned. It does look a bit suspect, admittedly! But hell, no!

Me too, don't worry.
And it's Christmas...oh boy.

Can you kids cool it with the sex talk, please? There are adults present.

Well, NOW there are!
Did you get my PM?

Sorry, DG.
Wait, there's a difference between a clarinet stand and any other music stand? I guess this is why I'm a singer...
Broadway Legend Joined: 6/19/06
A clarinet stand is for holding the clarinet, not the music! It's for putting it on when you're resting or playing an alternate instrument.
And it does look a bit bad;
