My parents got me a gift card toward a new TV, a diamond necklace, a down comforter, (the down feather bed is coming for my birthday in Jan!) lots of undies, a sonicare tooth brush and two pairs of sterling earrings. Mom also got me something she looked for forever. It's a small chain with a sterling pendant that's the chinese symbol for strength. I have that tattooed on my left shoulder blade. I got bigger and better things, but it meant the most to me.

I got my niece a $100 American Express gift card. She was so excited, it was cute. She was, like, "Now I can buy all the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL stuff." All I said was, "Spend it wisely."

When I was her age, it was all about J.T.T. for me. They just didn't mass produce his face on EVERYTHING back then as they do now.

Last round of gifts all opened. The first two seasons of The west Wing, some cloithes, some jewelry, a bunch of gift cards, and possibly my favorite gift of all day, which was the gorgeous white peacoat my grandmother bought me. I love it.
So I'm settling in with some cheesecake and indulging in a bit of Aaron Sorkin's brilliance for the rest of the evening. How has everyone been since I left?
