So, in order to show a proposal scene you have to include a wedding also?
I don't get that.
Esther is conflicted. If she were to marry John - she would have to stay behind while her family goes to NY.
Meet Me In St Louis is one of my favorite movies.
I'm always amazed at how quickly the clayfreaks descend on this boaed. They never post for months on end, but as soon as a thread goes up they're here within minutes.
Weird. And scary.
Austin - I think your crazy if you think "Meet Me" isn't Judy's picture.

I didn't mind the proposal scene so much as the trolley scene. It's a charming song, but I wanted to see how she covered her slip up for John once he got on the trolley. And I wanted to see the fair! It seemed like the whole movie was just a series of lead-ups to stuff they didn't show, and then it ended.
It just didn't flow like I would have wanted.
I loved the Halloween scene, though.
Taz, haven't you realized that once you mention certain names around here, it becomes the "Blucher" effect: All the nags start whinnying.

LOL, Deet!
I adore that movie.
And I saw "Billy Elliot" for the first time today. I'm smitten all over again!
You do see the fair, its the last sequence.
There was a scene in which John and Esther sing "Boy And Girls Like You And Me" at the fairgrounds, after "Trolley" - but it was cut.
Gah . . .why is the Food Network so addicting? I don't even cook. lol
it's just, how do they know? Do they check the board every day just to see if his name is in a thread by chance?
And I thought Rath had stalkers!

Wasn't that more than a year later, Mateo? Or at least two seasons later?
Luscious has a shirtless avatar! OH MY GOSH!
It's not like we don't know they were going to get married.
It is kinda creepy, Taz. It's like The birds. like they come on every day, type "Clay Aiken" into the Search function, and if anything negative comes up they put out an Aiken Alert to all their preteen glittery friends and they map out an attack strategy.
The movie is set from Summer 1903 to Spring 1904.

I know. They went on the trolley in the summer or fall, and then they showed the fair in the spring. I thought it was something different.

Oh my, Nitsua. You just asked for it.
wow geek. Just wow.
I get that allllll the time, taz.
I have an almost uncontrollable urge to just whisper "Aiken." Or "Orfeh."
But I won't.
LOL!
nitsy, you love the negative attention, doncha?
Why did I ask for it?
I'm just sayin'.
It's that great big double standard again.
Well it's very apparent that someone is shirtless in their own avatar.
*the cows refill cocoa*
I forget their SN but I saw an AV last night of a shirtless guy strapped to a bed. Perhaps since they don't post much, its acceptable.
C'mon nitsy don't be coy. You know that going into a thread where there are clayfreaks and posting a negative comment is gonna stir up trouble.
Regardless of whether there is a double standard going on or not, the only thing you accomplish is pissing off a bunch of people.
I'm not judging, do what you want, but don't sit there and play like you don't know what's gonna happen.

Huzzah, huzzah, Taz.
I am wearing the most fantastic socks. Santa gave them to me, and they look all nordic and ski lodge like. Cozy!
