ok, so I'm going to say this b/c I get soooo much SH*T for liking these so called torture porn movies:
I just saw Hostel 2 and everyone who crows about how awful it is and "how can you watch people get tortured", etc. has not seen the movie.
There is very little torture. There is a couple of Grand Guignol moments, but they are done with humor.
This movie is a satire on American machismo and a comment on how unsympathetic business (as in corproations) can be to the individual.
There's a lot more going on here than just a gore pic.
It's by no means a great movie, but it was quite entertaining and nowhere near the abomination to humanity that some hypocritical prudes paint it to be.

When the movie came out all kinds of people were acting like Eli Roth was the anti-christ. I just wanted to put it in perspective now that I've seen the film and can comment.

Its pure cheese. But I love it.
