I do too, Soap. What I don't like are displays popping up in stores in the middle of summer! The more you try to hit me over the head advertising something or other, the more inclined I will be to avoid that product or store.

Mornin, thread killah!

I am trying to decide whether or not to take a holiday singing gig - it's non-paying, and I'd be in a rather large chorus. It sounds like fun, all different kinds of music and from what I heard of the other auditioners, it will be a killer sounding chorus. The voices were all fabulous. I'm just waiting for the rehearsal schedule to see what the commitment will be before I decide.

The MD said it was all different kinds of music from gospel to country, and the audition breakdown called for a legit song, so there you have it. I don't know if it's all holiday stuff or not, but it's a holiday show, so I assume it is. I think this show is done every year. The issue for me is, it's down by Washington Square, and rehearses till 10:30 every night, so the nights I'm there I won't get home until close to midnight. I just need to know how many of those there will be.

Well, it sounds like fun.

The rehearsal schedule sounds a bit brutal - but hopefully, like you said, there won't be that many late nights.

The audition was Friday, I got the offer yesterday. They should have the schedule done tonight or tomorrow.

Yeah, definitely fun, but for no money and no featured work, I don't want to kill myself over some crazy schedule.

Emily won't die. Look how many times she's been close to kicking it, never happens. A recast would be welcome, however. I think they should offer Amber a million bucks a year to return.
