Well I'm saving up for it kids. I use my ipod everywhere I go, the gym, the beach, in class (jk).
On the other hand I don't have cable, don't watch TV and don't have any kind of fancy phone. I spend on music.
edit - plus a little bird told me it's going on sale for 275.00 at X-mas.

J2 and I just got back from packing up the parent's apartment - 7 boxes shipped via UPS this afternoon to Florida, 30 bags of useless crap and miscellaneous stuff to be carted away later this month.
Exhausting, but not as emotionally tolling as I thought it would be.

I just got back from my final show. Glad it's over, actually, got a cryptic message hinting at something on the horizon - very curious to hear for sure...
but then I realized we're much closer to the end of the month than I had thought - my hectic schedule of the past couple weeks has left no room for paying attention to such silly things as dates - and I'm feeling depressed. Sometimes the best thing is combined with the worst, you know?

So, yesterday was Kate Walsh's 40th birthday. A friend sent me some pics from the party because, duh, Sara was there. Idina and Taye were, too. Since I don't want to start a bleedin' fan girl post, I figured I would show my BWW friends with some taste. Can someone tell me what Idina was thinking? And why I ever thought she was attractive?
Pigtails? That dress? Leather pants? Seriously. I won't comment on that shirt with that tie.

I think the answer to both your questions, JG, is drugs.
I just got the cryptic message call - seems there is a staged reading being done next week and they may need another singer - they'll know tomorrow and call me, but the person who called me about it is an author who I met socially some months ago, who at that time asked me to send her some songs. I did, and she called today to tell me about this possibility and to say she likes my voice very much. Those exact words.
