I was 14 1/2. I thought I was never going to get it which was just fine by me, because as sheltered as I was, I believed a man and a woman only had sex to procreate. And though I didn't know why, I DID know I didn't want to have sex with my husband. So, if I didn't get my period, I wouldn't ever have to have sex.
