Posted: 4/25/07 at 3:00pmOh, I Googled last year for a friend of mine and just saw it it photobucket when I was updating my recent images -- he was on the Romanian Olympic team, and she is obsessed with gymnastics..He actually looks a lot better these days.

Okay I do have a very serious problem.
My insane family is having a 'surprise' party for my graduation/birthday despite the fact that I really did not want to do anything....should I make an effort to find myself someone to tag along with me to make it a wee bit less painful or would that just hurt their feelings and establish that I very clearly knew their intentions.

taz -- He has not told me one way or the other, but then I hardly talk to him (I try to avoid the coaches...they already have 30 Mom's asking when their kid is going to the Olympics every night). And it would be hard to tell in the environment I see him (coaching kids all under 1
. However, I always had the feeling that he is.

taz....yeah I know, I know. Indeed, I feel quite nasty just for considering it...
on the upside...now that I am a week away from being done with school (for a year and a half) I can give some thought to having a life again....maybe even go out on *gasp* a date.

SM2. Nope, was just going to try and recruit some random friend. I've been considering breaking the news that the reason I've been single for so long is less about focusing on school and more about the fact that my very scary funny parents might have a heart attack if they knew Lissy was queer. My brother know...my ex even knows.....but my parents are still clueless. And besides--the gymnast is prettier than me, and that is just not cool.
Taz...Congrats! my last papers are both due Tuesday! Yay.

The show was fantastic! It was received very enthusiastically and all the New York producers who attended supposedly enjoyed it. I hope this show gets another major production. It is a blast and I could see it doing well on Broadway. Hopefully they can use the momentum from Dreamgirls to get this show produced.
The recording session was a blast. It was so surreal having Henry Kreiger coming into the booth to give me notes. I should be getting the recording in a few weeks once it is done being mixed. The music is fabulous, so I'm pretty excited that it is on the way.
