The show is so brilliant.
Sighhh....I love the energy.
I hear the choreography is kickass.
I didn't know you'd heard the OBCR stagey. The first time I heard it I hated it.
But it grew on me like a fungus.

Ew, Taz...you have foot fungus?
My friends forced me to listen to it...not a good idea.
I finally got around to listening to it a couple months back. I initially liked the sound because I used to listen to alt-rock back in the day (i.e. REM, Counting Crows, Wallflowers) and so in that regard it appealed to me. But I have to watch the show to make a better, informative judgment. I don't think the songs stand very well on their own.

I think they do. I don't know, to each his own.
interesting. It took me some time to warm up to them.
My favorites are Totally F****d and My Junk.
All the ballads are a snoozefest however.

I agree, Taz...I skip The Word of Your Body almost every time I listen to the CR. But I love the rest.
yea, that one and also the finale of Act I.
I also like The Bitch Of Living and the song Melchior sings directly after it.
And all of the songs by the kid who kills himself are good.
Actually, my fave is "And Then There Were None." I kept hitting replay.

WHAT?
You don't like I BELIEVE?! I love harmonizing with that song.
I LOVE AND THEN THERE WERE NONE. And Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind.
My Junk is the **** to harmonize with. YUM.
But my ultimate favorite to sing with is SONG OF PURPLE SUMMER. HOLY SH*T. I love that song.
I find Purple Summer a bit of a bore too.
Don't Do Sadness is good.
I just realized my IT person added a new usb port and a new memory stick port to my computer when I had it wiped this week.
Sweeet!
My computer was fixed today, too. Yay! No more SH*Tty laptop.

I for one hate politics. I know, I know. But I can't help it, it just doesn't interest me.
Robbie, you're probably too young, but, taz, do you remember "Standing Outside A Broken Phone Booth With Money" by The Primitive Gods? It was a moderate hit back in '96 and it sampled B.B. King's "How Blue Can You Get?" I'm listening to it right now. Great song.
I actually have that cd stagey! It was from a movie as well.
It was a summer comedy but i can't recall which one.
THE CABLE GUY with Jim Carrey. It's got a great piano interlude. Another one that I love from that era is "Key West Intermezzo." From John Mellencamp's MR. HAPPY-GO-LUCKY album.
I love Key West Intermezzo too.
That was a good year for music.
Do you remember Get What You Give by The New Radicals?
Yess! That was a few years later, though. '99, I think. That just reminded me of another semi-hit from that year -- "Lullaby" by Shawn Mullins. Loved it.
Her parents threw big parties
Everyone was there
They hung out with foliks like Dennis Hopper
Bob Seger and Sonny and Cher
Another great tune. There were so many one hit wonders.
How about I'll Be by Edwin McCain?

Yup, yup! "I'll Be" was another great one.
I'm thinking of another from '99, but I don't recall the artist or the title. I remember the music video featured this chick with angel wings and the lyrics mention Venus, Cleopatra, and Joan of Arc. Does it ring a bell?
yes, damn! I can't think of it.
