She's gone home for the weekend. I actually wrote her a long letter explaining my concerns two days ago (because talking just wasn't working), and she hasn't spoken to me since. It's all very drama-filled.

I watched Saw V. I thought it was one of the weaker entries in the series. The traps were kinda lame (except for the pendulum).

But I did notice something very cool:

When his ex-wife goes to the FBI cheif's office to complain about someone following her, the camera shows a picture on his desk. It's of him and his wife.

Well, his wife is the dr. that was forced to preform brain surgery in part 3!

It was a blink and you miss it moment, but a neat little set up for future plot twists.

Really? I thought it was pretty good. Not the best, but good.
I thought for sure you would like the part where his hand gets sliced and you can see through it. Classic. And yeah, I agree about the pendulum being the best "trap."

The ending was expected, and could have been executed better, but I can't wait for VI! I just hope it can live up to the better ones of the series.
I watched Mirrors tonight. It was pretty bad. I enjoyed about 10% of it... nothing more.

I kinda liked Mirrors. The bathtub scene was fun.

Yea, the hand slicer was cool, but that was the only decent scene besides the pendulum.

Yeah, the bathtub would have to be the only part I thought was worthy of a horror film.
I just didn't like the plot and I wasn't a fan of the lady actress. (his wife)

Btw, have you seen Taken? I don't think it's hit theaters yet, but it is pretty damn good. I highly recommend it.

Yes, it is the one with Liam Neeson and he was excellent. It's a brilliant action/suspense film. WAY better than I was expecting. It was pretty badass. Let me know when you watch it!
