In terms of how many Broadway performers on the show? Aside from series regulars Mary Beth Peil, Graham Malcolm, Chris Noth, Christine Baranski, and the star, Juliana Margulies, they've had a plethora of theatre actors on the show. Tonight's episode included James Carpinello and Noah Weisberg. In the past, they've had Denis O'Hare, Francis Jue, Mandy Gonzalez, Elizabeth Marvel, Boyd Gaines, Mary Catherine Garrison, Chip Zien, Peter Benson, Martha Plimpton, Sally Murphy, Chris Hoch, Susan Blackwell, Curtiss I'Cook, Dick Latessa, Greg Edelman, Jessica Bogart, Joanna Gleason, Jessica Hecht, and Renee Elise Goldsberry.
Does the show film in NY, or is someone involved in the show paying to fly all these NY actors out to LA to be on?

Filmed in NY and set in Chicago?
I saw that they were filming on E 53rd yesterday. I just thought they had a NY set episode coming up.
It's my favorite new drama on TV. Last night's episode was incredible.
