I thought that it was possible before. Any help greatly appreciated.
The only thing I've figured out is if you go to the main board and click on search. There is a drop down menu to change which board you want to search. It's annoying if you don't spend too much time on that one.
And you can choose "Broadway Board" or "Other Boards"

It's still pretty spotty in what it will turn up. Usually the best way to find an old thread is via Google.
Agree.
Sometimes, adding a date range and/or the poster's name helps. But, it's definitely spotty.

And conversely, sometimes those parameters actually make it worse for the search! I've never understood why with each update to the site, the search function gets less and less user friendly.
I agree. I've looked for threads by the titles I thought they were, and nothing came up. Or I would end up getting other irrelevant threads because someone commented with my wording in their post.
Agree, agree.
It's one of the more frustrating aspects of our little community.

The best way to search I've found is to go to Google and type "broadwayworld" and then whatever you're looking for with as much identifying information you think of, whether it's the title of the thread or the subject, etc. If you can remember specific posters in the thread, search with their screen names to help narrow it down.
